DNTU students participate in a cultural and life skills exchange program and at Bina Nusantara University (BINUS) – Indonesia

"How many trips in our life do we remember, leave us with unforgettable memories" This is the realest confession of the DNTU students after completing the cultural exchange program at the Bina Nusantara University (BINUS). In the midst of those memories, there is a memory, a trip that perhaps during the youthful years of youth, of the four years of study in the house of DNTU they shall never forget.   DNTU students with International students take photo together in front of BINUS University logo According to the plan, from November 23 to November 29, Dong Nai Technology University (DNTU) organized a cultural exchange and sightseeing exchange program through the P2A Journey on Campus scholaship program at Bina Nusantara University (BINUS) – Indonesia for DNTU students to participate in training. Attending this internship, there were 02 excellent students who achieved the scholarship by their outstanding performances.  They’re student Nguyễn Thị Ngọc Trâm – Faculty of Foreign Language and student Lưu Thị Huyền – Faculty of Applied Sciences – Health. Student Nguyễn Thị Ngọc Trâm – Faculty of Foreign Language received the certificate from BINUS University   Student Lưu Thị Huyền – Faculty of Applied Sciences – Health received the certificate from BINUS University During this trip, lecturers and students of BINUS University shared with DNTU students about the cultural characteristics of their country. Besides that, DNTU students also have opportunity to exchange Vietnam cultural features with students from Indonesia, Myanmar, Thailand and Philippines. Not only take part in multi-ethnic cultural and Bahasa language classes, they’re also visit Jakarta’s old town. These significant activities truly help students develop creative thinking skills and teamwork skills indeed. In addition, DNTU students also participate in community activities, learn more about Indonesia traditional aspects such as traditional food, music,…  Seeing the beautiful view of Jakarta city and getting to know their country history, DNTU students realize that they have never been so close to Indonesian people like this. Last but not least, the students could also visit bussineses in Indonesia to expand their orientation of industries. On the day of presenting about cultures, students were divided into small groups to present cultural diversity among countries, also their feeling about joining this internship. The trip opened up interesting experiences for myself. During the trip, with the enthusiastic guidance of teachers and students from your country, conveyed to me personally valuable experiences. Through this I have learned many good things about presentations and group work as well as how to lead the delegation of Binus students. Learn and cultivate more scientific and professional knowledge of yourself.  Before I left I was extremely lacking in myself because I thought that my English was not good. You have accompanied me and helped me a lot so now that at the end of the trip, I can be more confident, have more motivation and reason to try to learn and develop myself – DNTU students share with us.   P2A (Passage to ASEAN) is one of the bridges to bring university student delegations to visit others ASEAN countries. The journey will not only help students experience traditional features of the host countries but also an opportunity to enhance their English communication skills and expand their career development opportunities in future path. Hopefully in the future, the close-knit relationship between the two universities will be further developed in order to strengthen the friendship between the two countries’ student community.   Source: Department of International Relations
